The current state of digital signatures is examined, highlighting the importance of authenticity, integrity, and non-repudiation. A detailed analysis is provided on the process of generating and verifying electronic signatures using Public Key Infrastructures (PKI) and cryptographic techniques. The article also explores the legal aspects of adopting and implementing electronic signatures. The results revealed that the solution is robust, in the sense that the system’s only entry points are the input and output storage directories. The authenticity and integrity of the produced documents are guaranteed using asymmetric cryptography, which leads to a high-level confidence production of financial documents.}, journal = {Journal of Computer Science}, publisher = {Science Publications} }
